Monsoon?

Recommended Posts

Been working on my deck all summer, it's been  NOT fun with the weather, either way to hot in the sun or rain.. The last two days were amazing and I was able to get the Trex Rainescape finsihed. Took today to get the siding back on after looking at the forecast and started a couple deck boards. Just in time.

^ No - this is the NJ compliant model, the shaft is pinned.

It's the BLACK ones that are the Evil Umbrellas..............

Aren’t those the ankle impailers? Even in the hands of law abiding citizens they are dangerous?

I put down some grass seed on some bare spots.  I figured if It's going to rain for several days or weeks in a row I may as well rake advantage of it!

I also sprayed a bunch of weeds 1.5 hours before we had a quick five minute thunderstorm.  I remember reading It's supposed to be rainproof "in about an hour".

Fingers crossed that the weeds die and the grass seed grows! And no, I didn't spray in the area I put down seed.

Yep, this really puts a wrench in the works.  I've been helping a disabled Vietnam vet paint his house and we've not had many safe days where I was free to work.

Very nice of you.

The weather is crazy everywhere.  I ran into a Monsoon yesterday by I95 and International Golf Parkway in St Johns FL, it was coming down so heavy I waited almost a half hour to head home.  When I got home which is only 30 minutes north west of there it was dry and my wife said it never even looked like rain.
