Grewal to Block Plans for Printable 3-D Firearms

Why are people afraid to have the files

Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Not really bothered about having the files, just don’t have a need to download them... I don’t plan on getting a 3D printer until they get cheaper/more functionality (better material).

On my desk, I have a row of gun books (mostly historical stuff). Two are directions for building firearms, even full-auto, and then a third is “Improvised Weapons of the American Underground.” I believe they have one in there... like a STEN design. Been there for years... and will continue to be there.

Do I worry about NJAG issues with them? Nope... they are books. They can come after me when I decide to build one... which isn’t happening. Until then, he can kiss my ass.

This stuff has been out there for years. not sure why this company got DOJ approval to begin with. As plenty others have said there are books an digital media on things well worse. I blame DD for making a big deal out of releasing them. They should have just put them out there. WOuldn't garnered the attention, unless that was their point, which is possible. In either case, clear violation of 1A. Building it is a separate issue. This country is really going to hell in a hand basket folks.

I believe that's his point.

Not the whole country is going to Hell in a hand basket.

Just 10 states.

Fair enough, I'll accept that, Unfortunately since we're in one and surrounded by others it feels like the whole country LOL.

I don't have a 3D printer, nor do I plan on getting one, but I too collect books, and the plans are just another part of my collection. I have had the original plans for years and I have downloaded the new plans. I will also download any updates to the plans. Never know when they could become of use.

did you mean fax?

Wow where are you? In the 70's?  No one has 3D faxed a gun in ages.  It's all electronic now.  I think its mostly because modern day weapons of war won't fit through those little Verizon copper lines.
