Says that that a gun was fired into the house . People were home and a basement window was broken. A month ago there was another invasion were a lady had her bedroom door open but thought it was her son . The next day her son came over and told her he was not in the house last night. Seems to be a more common occurrence these days. Also people are having their doors tried on the middle of the night.

The OP is a perfect reason for everyone to have a good quality video security system on their house. Not one of these single, cute, plug-n-play WiFi cameras or a Ring video doorbell, but multiple cameras covering all possible entry points on the house.

With video evidence, the cops will know exactly who these Tweakers are, and usually they are repeat offenders, so the cops know exactly where to find them.

They did have multiple cameras on the house, it is the norm in that area. They got good video of him. Also not just the cheap systems. There have been a lot of yutes caught on camera in that area . Seems that they drive in from a he town over. Last one looked right into the camera and smiled. They don’t care that they are there. Mostly nighttime but daytime sightings have occurred more recently.
