Screwball 483 Posted October 6, 2018 The confusion with the model number is going to be annoying... just like the 40 (10mm) and 35/24/22/23/27 (.40). Going to be playing “Who’s on First?” for the conceivable future...
Rob0115 1,105 Posted October 11, 2018 I enjoy my 19x and carry it when I’m not in shorts and t shirts. I’ll probably end up getting one of these too and a p365
gleninjersey 2,134 Posted October 11, 2018 One of the reasons I don't like Glocks is their model or names. Sweet mother of Mercy! It makes zero sense! Plus they have no soul

PK90 3,569 Posted October 11, 2018 No different than any other manufacturer. S&W 29 is .44Mag and others. Taurus 66 is .357Mag and others. Beretta 92 is 9mm, and others. Etc, etc, etc. The issue is the two digit model name why people get confused.Sent from an undisclosed location via Tapatalk

SgtToadette 59 Posted October 17, 2018 So maybe I missed the memo, but what does the G45 do that a G17 Gen 5 MOS doesn't?

High Exposure 5,635 Posted October 18, 2018 Just bought a Blue Label Glock 45 tonight at TTC. 10 rounds at 10 yards with crappy plastic Glock sights. I’ll take it. The trigger feels significantly different than my 3rd Gen guns. I like the grip without the finger grooves. I never minded them on the 3rd Gen but I like the featureless grip.
70gto 142 Posted October 18, 2018 impressive shooting there. does the gun feel faster on the draw out of holster on target? i know its s strange question but I think you get it.
High Exposure 5,635 Posted October 18, 2018 I haven’t even put this gun in a holster yet. I literally bought it about an hour and a half before I posted. I imagine it will feel about the same as a Glock 19 out of the holster.

High Exposure 5,635 Posted October 18, 2018 Lol. Yes. I know. Most notably the dome shaped striker safety plunger of Gen 1-4 guns has been replaced with an A-frame/ramped striker safety plunger. I think that has the most affect on the new feel. It gives you a very smoothed out, even, and steady trigger pull. The smoothness makes it feel lighter, but it isn’t.

Although my targets don’t look like @High Exposure targets. I think it’s safe to say that thing felt like an extension of my arm. SgtToadette 59 Posted May 12, 2019 Looks like the Glock 45 MOS was announced at NRAM this year. Looks like it would be a solid red dot host. Definitely on my radar. Would probably pair with a Holosun 507c.
