ANJRPC RELEASES GUIDE TO COMPLY WITH MAGAZINE BAN

Recommended Posts

I see that there are 3 choices here.
1. Put your mags in a box in your attic, if you think the ban will be overturned.
2. If not, smash them, then buy 10 rounders.
3. Do not comply.

I wonder what a magazine's R value is? I could put them in the wall to act as insulation around my bedroom window. <_<

@PK90

You guys do realize the injunction decision isn’t made yet?

Yes, we know the grace period ends next Monday 12/10

But really, when was the last GOOD 2A thing that happened in the PRNJ???????

We're not stupid, just realists.

Well my understanding of this is more capacity is more r.. so a 30 would be R-30

but it’s jus my understanding...

Yes, but that doesn't change the Statutes we're subject to here (until SCOTUS hears a case and then tells NJ that 2C:39 and 2C:58 are unconstitutional and they have 180 days to correct that).

Individual choices are always up to the individual.

Whilst I enjoy watching the panic here.. I’d be proud if I observed silence

They first have to agree to take on a 2A case, recently, they've punted on each one.

This is sort of the question. Is the mag case the one we want to go to a Ginsberg-less Trump picked court?  Or do we want the national orgs going for “the big one”?  After all how many chances will they get?

(I assume we all know what I mean by “the big one”.)

So I guess if you have a 10 round .40 cal Glock magazine and also own a 9mm Glock you could be charged with constructive possession of a high capacity magazine as it will feed more than 10 9mm rounds.  Heck under this new "ruling" you might not even have to possess the 9mm Glock as the device itself could be considered a high capacity magazine.  Gotta love the socialist people's republic of New Jermany where rights come to die, and be taxed.

Is anyone surprised?

Once again, ANJRPC accomplishes nothing, and finds a new niche for FFLs and corporate friends to make money.

The legislature rules you, the FFLs profit off your suffering, and ANJRPC makes you feel better about it. Rule you, fool you, fleece you.

FYI the penalty for 11 is the same as 100 next week.

If we had decent legal council that knew how to present a case, in my opinion, this mag law would be an easy one to win, no matter how the SC was stacked.

Letting the SC rule based on emotion and not facts is the problem.

correct.. you do NOT need a 9mm Glock..

can the 40 cal Glock mag hold and feed more than 10 rounds into a semi automatic gun? if yes.. then technically illegal.. thats how poorly written these things are..

Yes. They continue to lose case after case. Worthless!!!!!!!!! How is this any different from it being a burden for someone to get a voter ID card but not a burden for me to spend hundreds of dollars to purchase new mags or have them blocked???????????? Did they ever present this? I doubt it.

A GOOD USE FOR HI-CAP (ie 11 round plus) MAGs

On December 9th it has been suggest everyone send one of these to the homes of each of your Democrat law makers.  Then on Dec 11th report to the police that these people are in possession of illegal high capacity magazines - which will be a felony even if they don't have a gun to go with them.  This will solve a lot of problems in NJ :)

.... is that beretta sale still going on? I could be willing to chip in to make the above happen.

Question: A buddy of mine is a resident of Pennsy. He's going to be in NJ this week. Is it legal for him to have and transport 15 round mags from my place in NJ to his place in Pennsy if he does so before the 10th?

Maybe I missed it, but can HE use said mags at a range in NJ? Or do the written laws mean NO ONE other than the "exceptions" people can use or possess them here?

They should be telling people to not comply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And leaving themselves personally & a non-profit corporation (that has a fiduciary responsibility running the state range) one hell of an exposure to lawsuits?  What do ya think they are?  An anonymous internet forum with avatars for names fronting Keyboard Commandos?  GET REAL, lol!
