What they are is basic reliable build kits for a 3moa or better rifle.  Good 'nuff fer gubbernment work.

but its an ar... arent all ARs <.05moa. only aks are capable of something atrocious as 3moa  [/arfcom]

To counter the hate, I have a PSA 20" Rifle Length 5.56 NATO 1/7 Melonite A2 Freedom Rifle Kit that I think is a fine tool.  The upper came assembled and I assembled the lower with simple hand tools.  If you need a jig, godbless, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up scuffing this TOOL at the range worse than any imperfections that would happen during assembly.  For even more fun, it prompted me to buy a shit-tier drill press at Harbor Freight and do the compliance work myself.  Now I have a bangstick that can ring steel at 100yd on iron sights from a standing position with cheap ammo.

Horses for courses, gentlemen.

I'm going out this week to buy the stuff to do my own compliance work.  When I think about how much I've spent on this over the past decades I want to vomit.  Not hard to do at all either....................
