Poly80 Build

Now that there is something pretty to look at, here's the Poly80 G19 build Ive been working on. 

Zaffiri slide with RMR cut

SLR magwell

All internals are OEM Glock. Trigger came as part of the kit but will be replaced 

Next up on the list is:

Zaffiri TiN threaded barrel

Slide completion kit

Ameriglo sights

Trijicon RMR

Trigger- deciding between Overwatch and Apex kits. Never messed with any aftermarket Glock trigger before so any input is welcome. 

I put these on my Xmas list so hopefully Santa is watching/listening......

I am considering a 19 lower, which is the actual serial number yes?

I do not want a 80% lower though, I would prefer a factory built 100% lower.

Yes. The frame is the serialized part so a 100% lower would have to go thru a FFL.

Both are Gen 3 stripped frames in what Glock calls OD Green.

I got them from Big Tex Outdoors for like $70 each.

For another $70 you can get a Glock LPK.

They offer the Poly80s (with serial numbers), but the one they make (Timberwolf) is the full size .45/10mm.

I sincerely hope you are not finishing that lower within the confines of NJ.  I had two of them and replaced them with factory frames from Big Texas Outdoors, @High Exposure recommendation. 

 

Just ordered a G3 34 lower cause I have a Zev slide that I can finish off now.

I bought a 17 and 19 RTF frame when they had them for 79 bucks each stripped.  I just ordered the 34 complete (no stripped option) because I had a spare Zev upper for it that I wanted to use.

Just ordered a G3 34 upper cause I have a Zev slide that I can finish off now.

Nope the 80% frame was cut and drilled for completion in a friendly state.

Update: 

Built the slide up so I now have a functioning weapon. Still need a iron sights and a red dot. Trigger will be replaced at some point as well.

The only issue is the extractor. I have a billet extracts but it wouldn't seat all the way in the channel properly. Gotta figure out whats going on there. A factory extractor is in its place for now.

The LW timber wolf frames I’ve seen are hit or miss.  Get a factory glock frame for less money and no issues.   They have 19x frames now too

Got some more parts installed. Now that I have sights, Im hoping I get a chance to shoot it this weekend.

Ameriglo Suppressor height sights. Single orange/green dot up front, blacked out rear. 

Tactical Pontoon Trigger- this thing is awesome. Ranger Proof trigger shoe, adjustable over travel, Ghost edge 3.5Lb connector, polished trigger bar. There is basically no uptake in the trigger. I might see if I can tighten it up a bit more. Very short, crisp reset as well.
