With the new mag ban in place does this mean a Marlin model 60 with a tubular mag holding over 15 rounds is legal in NJ?

I just love my Marlins, without question these are the best 22s ever made.  I've never had a single problem with any of them, all are accurate, simple, easy to clean, and the triggers are pretty good.  The pre-2010 variants are the absolutely the best imho

Griz is right..... The original Marlin 60 is now good to go.

I bought a long-tube 60 with last-shot hold open from a NJ dealer in the spring for $90. That makes my 3rd 60.

The first gun I ever bought was a pre-Remlin 60 SB in 2010. I sold it to Griz a few years back. I got it back from him in a trade and will never part with it again. Thanks again, Griz.

It's hard to say no to a good 60.

that's a good price!  what year production?

I have a mid 80s with the longer tube and bolt hold open and now it's safe to bring back to NJ.  Sucker is lights out accurate

That one is a 1989 with a long tube, long barrel.

I also have a 2002 short tube, long barrel and the SB with short tube short, barrel.

So many 60s to collect.

I hear you.  my favorite is ss model made in 97 or 98, think it has 18" barrel.  they only made it 2yrs.

They are pretty dang cool guns and even better with some upgraded stocks.  Got mine in a Boyd stock that @tbtrout did for me back when we first started the forum.

I just got a 17-round Spee-D-Loader for my now-17-again Model 60

Makes it so much nicer than handling each round at the range.
