Bought this as a big "fugg you" to Trenton... had one permit left, didn't have any handguns I wanted to buy on the radar, and didn't want to waste it. Solution: Buds Special, S&W Model 10. Cop-gun trade in. Locks up nice and tight, shoots dead on. Bore is pretty fresh. Exterior is a bit beat up, probably sat in a holster until it was replaced with a Glock 17... all in all, it has character.

Great pick-up, I recommend a pair of Pachymar or Hogue rubber grips, a nice leather holster and some speed loaders.

The rubber grips will make the gun fit your hand better. Trust me

i like the wood grips as well. Just give it a little coating of finishing oil to make sure that they don't deteriorate and crack. That revo has plenty of character. A model 10 was my first handgun. I might get one of those trade-in guns myself.

There's 2 screws underneath the cheekpiece. Loosen them and it adjusts. Should it be pinned?
