I think it's illegal to watch this video in NJ. Too many boolets in the clipazine.

Clippazines?

My "1911" magazines somehow grew to anywhere from 10+9 to 10+11 as soon as they got across the river to America.

Just to confirm, are you using factory ammo?

Is it round nose FMJ or cop and baby killing hallow points? lol.

Can meet you at the range.

What I can think of... was if for some reason the round was getting caught up, particularly if you say it is the same round all of the time.

I.e. 4th round on a 10 round mag with 10 loaded?  Or 4th round on an 8 round loaded mag? =)  But once again, typically these are issues if you are using reloaded ammo that was loaded too long for your mags.

Factory fmj. Fiocci, Remington and American eagle.

Maybe.....you’re getting older and so is your wrist?  A limp wrist could absorb what the gun needs to cycle.

I challenge you, sir, to a duel!  Though not with my 92FS.

Seriously though, never had a limp wrist problem.  No issues with other pistols.  And a 4th round malfunction would be some pretty consistent, mechanical limp wristing.  Ill make a point to check it out this weekend though.  Never dismiss a potential diagnosis.

the only consistent mechanical malfunction I've ever been able to induce in a firearm, is failure to hold open on last round on my H&K P30 when brand new.  I happen to have the precise thumb shape and positioning to cause it to happen.  The solution: install P30S slide stops.  Problem solved.

I'm still going to call springs, specifically mag, with a slight possibility of either mag body or follower damage.

Went to the range today. Didn’t see anyone,  not sure if we missed crossing paths or we were the only ones willing to freeze.  I just finished thawing out.

The issue was a weak guide rod/recoil spring. At least I assume it was. Not one malfunction. The new mecgar mag was nice as well (I did use the old mags with no failures).  When I swapped the springs, the new one was longer and stiffer (that’s what she said).  I’m not sure if it was due to the new spring or just the cold, but it felt like it kicked twice as hard as usual.

Thanks for the help and suggestions guys.  Now i’ll have to try and figure out why I’m more accurate with my xds than my 92fs.

Looking to sell my Beretta 1301 Tac. Black, standard stock, extended factory 7 round magazine, WITH replaceable chokes. Gun is like new, with all original packaging, paperwork, and accessories. Has been fired less than 250 rounds, and is in perfect shape. 7+1 round model, made NJ compliant with a 2 round limiter. I bought this gun brand new less than a month ago. I’ll include a Beretta hard plastic, foam lined gun case. I have a 1301 comp incoming, and while I would love to keep the tac, it’s just not practical, so I am letting it go.

Located in 08724, will travel to a ffl for transfer within a reasonable distance. Would prefer not to deal with shipping.
Please, serious buyers only. Ask any questions and I’ll answer them asap!

      Hi guys,
I am new to the forum. I just purchased a Beretta 1301 Tactical and I would like to extend the capacity to the maximum allowed, and that would require getting a +1 extension, but i can’t find that anywhere. All that is offered is +2 or more.
There is only one solution that i have found, but i can’t find dealers that offer it. It’s an Italian company that has it (Toni Systems) and what’s great about it is that it’s a +2 extension size, so the extension will be flush with the barrel, which will be optically very pleasing and useful, while it provides a +1 extension making it legal in NJ. But, i can’t get it. Has anyone already found a solution?
      Thanks!

    • In 50 years of living in NJ I've never experienced any attempt to inspect the interior of the home, and only one definite inspection of the exterior for an announced reassessment of all properties and that was a drive by. About 9 years of that was living in an apartment, but still, uncommon. Every place I lived had either a finished attic, basement, or both. But they were also included in the habitable square footage on the taxes when we got there.
    • 27.00 and change in tolls to drive down the shore from Rutherford,  47.00 in tolls to go out to Long island to visit dying relatives. Now I read they are going to raise the fees in the DMV. Murphy lied just to get elected when he said that seniors will get a significant tax break with his StayNJ" program to stop us from leaving.   Keep voting for democrats...this is what you get.  Tax and spend is all they know.  Never cut anything.  This state sucks.
    • I get the added benefit that since I have a TSP rather than a true 401(k) they tax my retirement too. Yaaaay!
