Matteo323 0 Posted February 21, 2019 would you guys recommend putting guns on consignment or is it worth it to list in classified section and pay what ever fees ,and have to meet up at an ffl ?
BobA 1,235 Posted February 21, 2019 If you put a gun on consignment, as I understand it, you technically sign it over to the FFL’s possession. If it doesn’t sell or if you change your mind you have do the transfer/nics thing to get it back. So.....what’s the gun?
PeteF 1,044 Posted February 21, 2019 3 bucks a month get you premeir membership. Then you can post a for sale. Works very well.
Matteo323 0 Posted February 21, 2019 I'm trying to doe this as painless as possible. Most gun stores get 20% of the sale price . Not sure what most ffl's charge to do any paper work. Then it is also a matter of meeting up with the buyer at the ffl . Time is something I need more of. BobA 1,235 Posted February 21, 2019 So for $36.00 you get a year membership and it’s still cheaper than the transfer dance. And the gun is.....?

Maksim 1,504 Posted February 21, 2019 Thanks Troy. Just to also note, when you put a gun on consignment... yes it is "yours" but in the eyes of NJSP, no it is not. It is on the books of the FFL and if it does not sell and you want it back, you have to do the NICS once again. List it here and become a premier member.
