Underdog 1,593 Posted March 18, 2019 That is too harsh, Ray. I would take a Smith & Wesson any day, but I really don't like the shape of either triggers. Hinge or tab... yuck. But they work. Price, ergonomics, metal sights, USA, metal mags, rails... Better than your other two as well (on price alone). Nothing surpasses the Smiths in terms of value... I don't like the grip safeties on the Springfields.

My PPQ M1 is a sweet shooter that never even so much as hiccups. I noticed no one suggested the G20 to shoot 10mm and 40 S&W through the same barrel. Underdog 1,593 Posted March 19, 2019 The fit and finish on the Glock GEN 5 is crappy. It is a half-baked piece of Schumer with no attention to detail and in my opinion it is not a quality gun. It was thrown together. Check out the beveling as an example. I would stay away. The ONLY likeable thing is no finger grips. I'd rather have a beat-up Gen 2. i guess all the competition has got them cutting corners.
Displaced Texan 11,731 Posted March 20, 2019 I rather like the Gen 3/4’s with the finger grooves. They fit my hand very well. Never liked the smooth grip Glocks at all. I’m on the hunt for a G19 now that my permits have arrived.
