Please try and bring everything you can in terms of a gun, ammo, and clays.

A rough check list of what to bring:
- Gun(s)
- Ammo (birdshot #7.5, 8)
- Clays (Walmart's in Clinton, Flemington, and Phillipsburg generally stock them)
- Thrower if you have one
- Eyes and ears
- Shell pouch
- Beverages/snacks
- Layer up and bring a warm jacket/gloves/hat depending on weather
- Chair

If you can't bring some things, we will have plenty of stuff there. If you've never shot a shotgun before, I and others will try working with you to be able to dust a clay by the end of the day!

Gun rules to remember:

Always treat a gun as if it was loaded
Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot
Never point the muzzle at anything you're not willing to destroy
Always be aware of your target/line of fire
For this range, keep all guns unloaded until you're on the firing line

Be smart, be safe, and we will have a fun-filled day!

All right, people!  We've been lax about killing clays and turning the field orange.  Let's correct that.

I have range safety orientation from 8am-1pm. I'm a bit baffled why it is 5 hours. I doubt it will be. I couldn't see it being more than an hour or 2. I'll put the shotgun, clays, and shells in the car as I think I'll be about 30 min from Clinton.

fair 'nuff.

So to be clear: we're "on" for the 18th, assuming the weather doesn't go to piss, then we're on for the 25th.

Got that everyone? :D

Ummm, can you repeat the question?

The 25th is Memorial Day Weekend. I can't make then either and others may have some plans. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer just relaying info.

Question. ?  What do you guys do with your spent brass. I use low brass for my hobbies. if anyone saves it let me know.

Low brass shotshells?  all get thrown out at the dumpster at the range.

We are in Philly this coming weekend for my wife's grad school reunion.
Then we will be traveling down to NC for the following two weeks.
Maybe I can attend the next Shotgun Shootout in June....?
