Used lawn mowers central NJ

Does anyone know of a shop or person in central NJ who will take a used mower?  I have a 10 year old ride on cub cadet that stopped running this weekend and the local shop wants 250 just to pick it up and “look it over”.    I’m guessing the age plus needed repair costs makes getting this one fixed a lost cause.  

Any help would be appreciated.

Call a local scrap metal monger.  They will pick it up for free.  Actually, if you put it out at the curb with scrap written on it, it will probably be gone in a day.

I was just coming here to post that.

Push it out to the street, hang a sign "FREE", it will be gone in hours. You'd be amazed what crap the scavengers will take!

Actually, if you want to see some great comedy, go post a "Curb Alert" on Craigslist and post a time that the FREE mower will be at the street, and watch the vultures line up!

The hordes that show up for those type of postings is truly scary!
