Not sure where I found the idea. 1 rack of ribs sectioned in 3 ribs per 1 medium size container of sweet baby rays bbq sauce. 1 crockpot Place ribs in crockpot bone down. Smother with bbq sauce. The whole thing! Cover and Cook on low 4-6 hours . Don’t mess with em. @gleninjersey trust me these are phenomenal! October @Displaced Texan Prepare to be destroyed by my creative cuisine charisma! @Zeke Here comes the backup.. Going over the recipe I've gotta say its almost exactly like we make them for our catered BBQ packages. Only difference is we slow cook in our commercial convection ovens.. THEY ARE AWESOME! 1 hour ago, fishnut said: These look really good....I am hungry now

If you two Yankees wanna eat boiled ribs, then you do you. Fishnut and I are merely trying to educate you Neanderthals on the finer points of real bbq. But I guess you can’t wrestle with a pig.. Displaced Texan 11,731 Posted June 13, 2019 If you MUST boil ribs in a pot of liquid, here’s the acceptable way of doing it..in a cast iron pot. Crock pots are for your granny. In a few hours, this will be wine braised beef short ribs. I was going to serve this over polenta, but Mrs Tex overrode that decision. I will be serving it over mashed potatoes (Yukon Gold), with a gravy made from the braise liquid. I’ll post pics when it’s plated, and ready to serve.
