Has he called for regulating gangs yet?

You see them as gangs, he sees them as his constituents.

This is my town.  When I was a kid, we played cops and robbers for hours on end.

So sad....

Same here, with cap pistols and rifles. And they were 'displayed' all over the place.

And members of the school rifle team took their rifles on the school bus on match days. (I was not one of them.)

Can you believe it? No one ever got shot.

We wouldn't have thought of it. I guess we were civilized.

In the '60's we called it "playing army". We'd run around the woods shooting each other arguing more if i got you than we were saying "bang".  If there wasn't enough toy guns to go around we'd use sticks.  Where there's a will there's a way.

Times have changed.

Kids are carrying real guns these days looking to hurt people.... There is some common sense to be used here.

Sounds like we were from the same era.  That was my experience as well.

I always had guns as a kid, western guns, snub nose detective revolvers, golden gun mini-replicas, and the like.  I once thought about bringing my snubby to school concealed in my shoulder holster, but thought better of it.
