I need to get one. Can I try yours :B:):

anytime my man....honestly its nice for your shooting buddies as it put everything out in front but you sacrifice a little muzzle rise. I felt it was shooting flatter without it on. I like it

How much did you spend without accessories?

How much did you spend on the upgrades?

Well most of the accessories i had laying around. The Warden i use on all my setups so does it count lol

if i had to guess i would say this gun is around $2400 as it sits. Modern Materiel is selling their SBF for $1295.

good price go for it support the local guys

Still wish I can get them to come out or get me and @Rufio.Weaponworks a gun to review.

What I know is that so far I have a Troy A4 which we have throughly beat up and the Troy rep came out to two media events we were putting together. @TechOpsInternational

I also have a Dark Storm Variant 1 and @Dark Storm is coming out this week for us to thoroughly test their guns.

No matter which guns you buy... you are support small businesses, including the retailers and ranges.

what flash can is on this?

Did it come welded or did you need to get it welded?

Testing it this weekend. The flash can is zavair. I had to get it pinned and welded. Big props to tier one defense. Did a great job.

The lighting isn't that great. It was supposed to be battle worn copper but came out battle worn bronze.

Special Ops Tactical (SOT) 12" Other Firearm.

I added the MBUS front & rear,  ambi charging handle, Holosun 507C and co-witness mount.

@ChrisJM981 LOVE the finish as it came out.

For both of you guys... why put on a Flash Hider?  You are spending money on the gun... spend a few dollars and put in something that will actually work, like a good compensator or brake.

@EngineerJet I would remove that styrofoam looking piece which seems to "rigid up" the "Brace" to function as a stock. =P  Just saying.

Well I have an AR with a comp on it already. I've shot rifles with A2's when I was in and they honestly arent that bad. I wouldnt be doing any competitions with this as it would be a possible home defense option, so I want some flash mitigation. Worst case is I hate it and I have a gun smith remove it and I put something else on.

I'd love to put my BattleComp on, but it's pinned to my AR.

It came pinned?  Barrel is 12.5"? + the flash hider?

No, I have a comp on my rifle, but since it has to be pinned I can't swap it out. I haven't really looked into comps in a while and I need to to do some research.

    • Regarding Murphy's absurd attempt to make all private property off-limits by default (which would 100% be overturned under Bruen): I think (hope) he may have a difficult time getting that through the legislature. Check out these two Politico articles, which specifically mention new Senate Majority Leader Scutari's reluctance to move on gun legislation. The Dems are very concerned about losing control of the NJ legislature in the 2023 elections. Perhaps we should organize grassroots lobbying. • Unlike the FARS FID/P2P process for checking references by email.  The references on my carry applications have never been contacted, to the best of my knowledge. That's the purpose of having them sign in ink.  It's pretty much up to the Detective doing your background check to determine if he feels it is necessary to contact them.
    • So now that it's a reality, what are some recommendations for some good carry guns? I currently have a CZ P01.  It's a little heavy (28.1 oz unloaded) put could be carried.  Pros, it's a CZ.  I shoot it pretty well.  If round capacity restrictions are struck down I can easily buy standard 14 round mags for it. I also recently held a Glock 43X.  It weighs 18.7 oz unloaded).  It comes with 10 round mags but there are 15 round aftermarket ones available if things ever change. I've also recently discovered the CZ P-10 Micro-Compact.  It's smaller and lighter (20.1 oz) than my PO1 but only holds 7 rounds.  Being a CZ fan it caught my eye. So what are you carrying if you have been carrying.  And what are some suggestions for a carry gun?
