Selling Firearms

Greetings.  Ive been disconnected for quite some time from 2A world.  Family duties, second job takes over spare time etc., 

I know the days of FTF stuff are long gone but what's the new process now?  Last I read a FFL was required to process the transfer, does that apply to both pistols and rifles? 

I've sold plenty through the years nows it's time to just hold onto a select few that I can't part with.  I plan on listing a HK VP9, Colt 1911 Combat Commander, Spikes fully built AR.   However prior to doing so I want to make sure I'm up to date on the process and the take the smoothest means to do so.
