We are leaving.....

Recommended Posts

Well.....for everyone who has been wondering what's been going on...we are moving. Next month my wife and I are packing-up the farm and moving to Pennsylvania - to a community called Hemlock Farms in the Poconos.

To a certain extent I feel like I am being driven from my homeland ... but I can't say I will miss NJ.  It's getting crazier and crazier.

Welcome to PA. First thing up: apply for your LTCF! Second thing up: buy a handgun in one day just because you can!

We have one foot in PA and one stuck in NJ for the moment. And you will have friends in PA!

Yes, you will miss NJ, but not the government. And your vote will help the PA cause.

Congratulations! That community looks beautiful. But, may I say this: your new digs are not all that far from Clinton, so I trust you will continue to show at Shotgun Shootouts on occasion. After all, you may have friends in PA... but you've got friends in Joisey, too. :D

I'm out of the Peoples Republic of NJ for almost 5 years now.  One big downside.  You can spend too much on guns.

Yeah I bought cans, but now I want a sub-gun.  Jeez...Can't buy much for $10k.

Please keep the anti-gun libitards up there.

16 years to go. I want to go to a state with FA and low taxes.

M-10 is under 8k. I'd go a little over budget and get a M2 Carbine.

Blow the bridge as you cross the Delaware, just to be safe.

I have to ask, how can you stay somewhere you don't want to be for 16 years?  Is it a job?  If so, then there are jobs elsewhere.

Macs you can find as low as 6500 but they're kind of trash.

M2 is a consideration or an AC556 if ya gonna blow the wad.

I'm actively looking. The problem is my wife is extremely picky about school systems. The areas I was looking in have taxes that are almost as high as here. It wouldn't justify the commute.

Congrats. Sometimes I feel like they want us to leave.

we should all leave, have everyone here be Blue no red at all and see where the state is in 5-10 years.

I've got about 5-6 years before I feel like I can leave, need the kids to finish school.

Does anyone really believe the schools in PA are not as good as NJ?

Your being sold the NJEA Bullsh!t...

Yes, literally every list I've ever looked at online has NJ ranked higher than PA for public schools and I've looked at several.
