Maksim 1,504 Posted August 2, 2019 I had the PC Carbine w/ Rail ever since I got back from the Ruger media event. Mostly, just had fun shooting around with it, both with and without a supprssor. FINALLY, I took it to the range to shoot for accuracy. While I suspected it was going to be accurate, WOW... is it accurate, both with reloads and cheap factory ammo. Video premier tonight at 9:30 PM... and oh yeah, had factory ammo go boom. Join in on the YouTube premier chat, like and subscribe.

I did add a second OEM charging handle to the left side because I like to have the option to charge from either side.
Underdog 1,593 Posted August 4, 2019 I always wanted an older Ruger 9mm carbine, even though it didn't have a stellar track record... But these are awesome.

Thanks, on the heavy side, I think there will be solutions soon. I was told directly that the PC Carbine family will grow in the future.

The problem with 10mm, versus say 357 Sig, or 40, is that it requires a new block for the Glock large frame magazines. The design and engineering and associated molds runs fairly high. BUT, I think it will come. The question they have to answer is... Where is there a better return, designing a new block for Glock large frame mags, i.e 10mm and 45 ACP... OR 9mm varieties of M&P, Beretta 92FS, CZ75, etc. I am learning this first hand working on getting that gun in a classic soviet caliber. lol.

Any hints at what the solution might be to the weight issue? Non-heavy barrels perhaps? I know the current version is fluted to shed some weight but it is still a heavy barrel. As far as the other, I really should not say much, although there is nothing that was made definite yet. I think the Shot Show 2020 season will be quite exciting, particularly as it relates to perhaps non-nfa firearms.
