officers have been shot by at least one gunman who authorities say is firing at them in an ongoing shooting incident

Look at the number of LEOs that have responded (white vehicles) in the picture below, this is for a SINGLE shooter. When true civil unrest starts, does anyone really think the cops will be able to cover/respond to it all?

Ultra-Progressive District Attorney Larry Krassner, on the scene, is reported to have said that he would not prosecute the shooters, as they were likely just disadvantaged yutes.

I bet they bought their firearms from NJ because of PA’s weak gun laws

Police had to ask media to stop reporting their positions.

"Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp is asking media to “stop broadcasting the tactical position of officers,” as the scene in Philadelphia is still active. "

What a bunxh of f'ing idiots

Seems to be a 'Mexican standoff' at the scene.

Just call former Mayor Wilson Goode. He's got a solution!

I think he called it an "Entry Device"!  Could come in handy here except for the 2 Cops supposedly inside the structure!

Not yet. He probably ran through his stash of ammo and is sitting at the Dillon with a joint in his mouth making more.

And as reported on Channel 29, there are a lot of residents who still cannot return to their houses because they're inside the ever-expanding police perimeter.

And the thunderstorms are coming. Going to be a long night in North Philly.

A direct quote from Mayor Kenny on Fox 29 Philly: "I'm mad that the shooter has all that weaponry, all that firepower. But we'll deal with that another day."

Mr. Mayor... Mr. Mayor... This was an arrest warrant being served at a known drug house for drug offenses. There's a total ban on these drugs at the Federal, state and local level. Why are there still drugs in your city that precipitate these kind of operations gone wrong?

I have way too much knowledge of the events on Osage Avenue and "Move"!  My father was a Philly Cop who was there! Continue to Rest in God's Peace, Officer James J. Ramp who died at that scene!

Great news, all 6 shot officers released from the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Unfortunately, the perp is still held up in the apartment and hasn't been killed yet.

The cops and their prisoners are out safe.

Only the shooter is left inside.

Not good odds of a long life for the dude.
