DirtyDigz 1,811 Posted August 19, 2019 “Unauthorized house guests” attempt a 3 am robbery. Homeowner wrestles their gun away from them and fires at them as they flee. How long until the homeowner is charged with firearms offenses?: https://www.nj.com/news/2019/08/home-invasion-thwarted-when-resident-takes-gun-from-robbers-fires-shots.html
njJoniGuy 2,131 Posted August 19, 2019 Homeowner's story of the gun belonging to the invaders will be called bullshite by the prosecutor. When gun comes back as stolen or defaced (even worse) homeowner will go away for a looooong time. Invaders will claim they were invited over and told to use the bathroom window for entry. So much for actual justice here in the PRNJ.
Bklynracer 1,263 Posted August 19, 2019 It's sad that we have to think that way
njJoniGuy 2,131 Posted August 19, 2019 This has been a sad state to live in for a very long time. Pretty much since the 2A was deleted from the current state constitution which was drafted in 1947.
JMich3 152 Posted September 6, 2019 He’s lucky he missed with his shots. He would be in jail and the criminals would be collecting from his homeowners insurance.
