Howdy folks,

Recently moved down from Boston to Basking Ridge NJ and getting used to all the exits...

Looking forward to joining a local rifle club /range and meeting fellow enthusiasts.

On a side note, I thought the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts was anti-2A, this state might be worse.

Welcome from Tampa Bay, FL (formerly from Warren County, NJ)!  And yes, it is much worse.  To a great extent, it's why I'm in Florida, now, although it may not be for long if too many antis keep moving down here!

Boys, boys, boys! Let's not squabble in front of our newest family member. (But, for the record... tearing down the stretch and... yes!... crossing the finish line... why, it's Taylor Ham by a nose for the WIN! [and the crow roars!]) ;)

Welcome aboard, NChander! I'll ditto what another poster said - please do keep an eye on the events section - the shotgun shootouts in Clinton would not be far from you at all. There are also other organized events at various ranges. Any/all of them are a really nice way to meet other members. And yes, the state is virulently anti-2A, but that's why we need pro-2A folks to get involved - whether it be attending a rally, doing some pre-election phone canvassing, etc. You'll see those kinds of things announced on here also! Enjoy!

And for the record; it's Taylor ham, and fruit, any fruit on meatloaf and crackpot rib soup are abominations that no human being should be subject to.

Welcome Nchander.  Abandon all hope of a handgun carry permit until we get supreme court action.

You've traded Maura Healey for Gurbir Grewal.  Toss up as to which is more rabidly anti-gun.  Did Healey outlaw possession/transmission of 3d print plans for firearms like Gurbir did?

Welcome to NJ, I guess. But WHY?? Is a close family member in dire straits, did you get a quadruple pay raise with a house and car thrown in, did you come for the PORKROLL? Can't think of too many other reasons. Either way, this is a great site with many willing to offer help on all things firearms. Some are not so knowledgeable about food and cuisine though.

      My township sent out notices that they are dispatching "assessors" to do exterior and interior inspections on all properties.  We have had an assessor in our home probably three times since we've owned this property. What I found interesting is that the word TAX is not mentioned once in the letter, which leads me to believe the inspection is a little more broader than what the letter suggests.  Like they left out the word tax for a very specific reason. Refusal of the interior inspection is allowed (pfft, allowed) and we plan on doing exactly that.  It's the same freaking house it was when we bought it 28 years ago. Just wondering, without getting political in the GD section, how often does your town or borough inspect the interior of your home?

      I have a like new (only zeroed) PSA Sabre KAC M110 Clone in 7.62x51mm. This is PSA's clone version of the infamous Knights Armament M110. Very high quality, excellent 2 stage trigger, 20" chrome lined barrel, adjustable gas block, and is NJ legal with a pinned Surefire SOCOM muzzle brake.  Radian Raptor charging handle and Radian ambi safety. Upper and lower are billet receivers compatible with all KAC SR-25 and LMT MWS/MARS-H pattern receivers.  Im no where close to being a long range shooter but ive been able to get 0.7 MOA out of it with 175gr federal gold medal match ammo and Im sure the rifle is capable of much better accuracy. Asking $1650 (which is a steal for what you get) at any FFL thats a reasonable distance from Jersey City. I can also ship but that would be on your dime.  Optic/bipod etc not included but can be purchased if interested. Vortex Razor Gen-II HD 3-18x50 FFP with the new EBR-7C MRAD illuminated reticle in a 1.54 reptilia mount. Id include the optic for another $1700. Happy to answer any questions or provide more pictures. Not interested in any trades. Thank you.
