How many different gun calibers do you have and use?

Recommended Posts

Years ago I had many different hand gun calibers from .380 all the way up to 44 mag. since then i have down sized my collection because it was getting too hard to keep track of so many multiple guns in multiple calibers. Here is the situation all my hand guns now are all in 9mm, and it feels like I'm missing something.  Plus I still have some ammo of all those calibers doing nothing in my safe. I miss my 10mm! Anyway I'd like to hear your thoughts on this subject.

I have tried to consolidate calibers, and not stock too many of them.  My first handgun was .40 caliber, but I never shoot it, so I only have a small quantity of ammo for it that I bought a long time ago.  I have stockpiled 9 mm, 5.56/.223, 7.62, .22LR, and 12 gauge.  Keeps it simple for me.

I have seven standard capacity caulk guns, one large capacity caulk gun, four paint spray guns, an old tube TV with a three color electron gun, two staple guns, three nail guns,  two screw guns, one pressure washer spray gun,  and a squirt gun.

Whaaaat???? No squirt guns???

But seriously I used to shoot alot of 40. But I had other calibers. Now all my hand guns are 9mm, but in long guns I have a couple of flavors 556, 12 gauge and 308. Been thinking about adding a 22 in this area.

I currently own handguns in 4 different caliber- 9 mm, 10 mm, 45 & 40. I have quite a lot of 9 mm ammo that I like to bring whenever I go to the range. The 9's include a Taurus PT 92, Sig P226 Glock 19 & a 226 Legion. All of them are really good guns. My favorite thing about the 9's is that the ammo is still relatively inexpensive, as I recently bought 4 boxes of 115 gr. FMJ at the A C Bass Pro Shop for $9.99/box. Next time I am in A C I may stock up on some more if they have it on sale again.

Hmm.... that's nine calibers for me, and you can never have too much ammo, as the saying goes.

I even have some surplus nagant revolver ammo in cool little boxes with Russian print, but when the $99 nagant revolvers "disappeared," I gave up on them and entered the world of tokarev.

Adios,

I have so many guns, I've lost track.

Holy crap... I forgot about all those "guns" I have in my possession.. I have a armory in my garage and shop, and I didn't even realize it.... damn, I better hope the ATF doesn't show up..  I'd have a hard time coming up with the COE for all of them. :superman:

Wars aren't won with handguns.  Or any small arms that includes rifles and machine guns.

Artillery has been the biggest killer on the battlefield since Napolean.
