Watch the replay, unfortunately this was caused by Newman trying to block. NOT Blaney's fault. Newman went all the way down to the double yellows to try and block Blaney. Blaney had a big push from Hamlin, and was coming... Hell, Blaney almost lost control from the hard push by Hamlin.
Newman was doing what any other driver would do coming to the checkers, protecting his position... sadly, crap happens in those situations. It's the nature of this type of racing...
@Slab Sides the response I got from a CBP Supervisor is there is a form on the ATF Website to export and import the guns. You might have to take the guns to an ATF or CBP office to verify the serial numbers. Call them in advance. They'll tell you where to go.
Not sure about that yet... he might we awake and talking, but be a quad with a spinal cord injury.
In decades of watching racing, I've never seen such a long delay to report exactly what the injuries are. That doesn't look good.
I haven't done it since '89, but back then to take firearms out of the country for competition, you had to present them to customs in advance of your trip, and they'd document what you had, which essentially became your proof of ownership, and allowed you to bring the guns back in on your return without being charged import duty (the guns in question weren't made domestically, so you wanted this proof that you weren't importing them)
You're wise to seek out more recent guidance than what I can provide!
