PA doesn't honor any non-resident permits anymore.  You can apply for a non resident PA permit in PA but only if you have a permit from our own resident state. So if you live in NJ your SOL.

Yes.  It was originally overlooked by the PA attorney general because one needed a license/permit in their home state to get a NH permit.  New Hampshire changed that requirement back in 2016 or 2017.  Shortly after that, nonresident reciprocity was revoked by the attorney general.

Yes, PA really should have sent their AG to prison sooner; it's a shame it took as long as it did.

They're not the only state to make that mistake.

Ironically, it was Kathleen Kane's successor that shut down all non-resident permits in PA unless you had a permit from your own state.  If you had a NR permit from NH and you lived in NJ, you had a window of about 10 - 11 months in which you could legally carry in PA.

When I moved up here my resident permit took 8 or 10 days. I picked it up while waiting in line to vote for trump while I was carrying! I'm definitely enjoying my freedom!

No I moved up here after the state went to constitutional carry. I got my resident permit because it allows resaprocity with other states and allows me to carry in some parks in maine specifically Arcadia.
