jm1827 284 Posted November 1, 2019 Can anyone recommend where I could go to have a bunch of older VHS, VHS Mini and possibly other format tapes transferred to a couple of DVDs? We have a bunch of old tapes from several cameras that I would like to have transferred to a couple of DVDs, looking for it as a Christmas present for my wife. Thanks! I am located in Central Jersey near NJTPK Exit
Scorpio64 5,147 Posted November 1, 2019 If you are a member of Costco, I believe they still offer that service. Also, any wedding video shop should be able to transfer.
Displaced Texan 11,731 Posted November 1, 2019 If I recall correctly, FedEx/Kinkos used to do it. Might want to check their website, would likely be cheaper than a wedding video shop.
PK90 3,570 Posted November 1, 2019 I did my own years ago. You probably can still buy the VHS DVD Combo.

For very much less ($30-50) you can buy a box where you upload the VHS to your computer and then cut your DVD from your computer.
Downtownv 1,774 Posted November 1, 2019 Look for a Go Video on eBay. They are both a VHS and a CD/DVD player recorder in one unit.
NJSigfan 218 Posted November 2, 2019 Alternately you can use legacybox.com. They’ve been advertising on Foxnews for years. Neighbor used them once and was happy.
