Lever action guns are great. Pick up a nice old Marlin "Thurdy/Thurdy".
They used to be rather inexpensive but in the crazy environement we are in who knows?
My .357 revolver and my 30/30 are two of my favorite guns.
Furthermore, if you are this interested in certain firearms and especially their calibers, since you made another thread on just that. I would expect you would also be interested in the permitting and application process as well. Please start a new thread on your journey applying for your FID, handgun permits, and purchasing process for your first AR-15 since it seems that is what you're most interested in.
Everyone here will be more than happy to help you through the process, but without facts, and follow through, we have nothing to go on.
Cool story bro.
You have added absolutely nothing to our community. You've tried to teach us something EVERYONE already knows in the gun culture.
I'm not saying you smell of troll...but the beat reporter profile picture, smells of troll. I hope you're making more than $3.25 a post to do this.
Good luck on your quest for real firearm information and education. When you really want to know something, without obvious troll signals of course, please let us know. This community is a wealth of knowledge, all of which are eager to hand out and help you learn.
