@Mr.Stu Glad you liked it. Yes Turing was a good one, if an odd sort of fellow. Lots of videos on code breaking up there as well.
Since every century has its share of evil despots I can't help but wonder how long will it be before one arises and gets ahold of some 21st century technology.
Or, what if the reincarnation of Lavrentiy Beria got ahold of Google and/or the NSA and made it work for his purposes?
We've seen the tip of that one already.
Years ago I found myself on a big gray boat 35 miles off the coast of KSC the night of a launch. Would have been between the pad and where the boasters land in the ocean so it would have flown right over my head. Launch was postponed 24 hours so the next night I was quite a bit further away. Could still see it but it looked like holding a lighter at arms length. Still cool but not the same.
When Cindy and I were on our honeymoon we went to watch the launch of the space shuttle. It was the last sucessful flight of Discovery. 35 years later it is still one the most impressive things I have ever witnessed in person.
Yes after getting my new bride up a 4 AM to drive half way across Florida to watch the launch we are still married.
There is a fee to add/remove a handgun. It's $8. I guess that's to cover the cost of issuing you a new card which lists all the handguns you own make, model, caliber, and serial number. This authorizes you to carry any of those handguns.
Fulton Co. will also let you co register your handguns with your spouse so we both have all our handguns on each other's permits.
The NY system while still an infringement on a right is far better than Nj's paper permit for every purchase.
