MichaelDiggs 29 Posted November 16, 2019 Anyone ever use Google Earth and come across places that look like a range but no range is advertised to be there? Usually a very private one. My father who lived in North Jersey found one way up in the hills of Newton township. I'm sure some people with big money and have lots of land can make their own ranges.
GRIZ 3,365 Posted November 16, 2019 Image interpretation can be tricky. There can be a lot of places that look like ranges that are something else. There also can be a lot of ranges that don't look like ranges.
PK90 3,569 Posted November 16, 2019 I know someone that has an underground range in Cumberland County. Google Earth won't show that, and neither will walking across the grass on top!

How on earth can you possible know where a range is? The hills of Newton are vast farm lands, tons of open space.
