I don't read the NY Times for obvious reasons. And this comparison is a great illustration why. The paper and its writers by and large are not reporters of 'news'; they are filters of opinions. And those opinions will always be slanted in the same direction. (Please explore the article links to Twitter and other points of amplification.)

But it is funny when they get caught in contradictions of their own making.
