That would depend on how big it was.   Big enough, it turns your property into a crater.   But yeah, a small one could be worth a lot of money.

Big crater - one big enough to take out the house an all would certainly be a problem. I suppose a small crater could become a tourist attraction. If I found a meteorite at the bottom of that crater it would probably be worth a fortune.

 

I suppose you need to be careful what you wish for.........

Yeah, I saw that.  The timing was off a little, but still that flash was not something I've ever seen during a shower.

You usually don't see the flaming balls like earlier int he video either. 

However, the light looked a LOT like a transformer blowing up. Maybe one got whacked by the meteorite.

I agree it looked like a transformer, but it lit the entire sky, horizon to horizon.
