AlDente67 563 Posted January 26, 2020 Need a wrench to do some wheel changing. I have one somewhere in my hoarders mess of a garage. Just need a wrench/breaker bar for a one off. 150lb+ ideally. Also will buy it outright if you prefer.

Mr.Stu 1,918 Posted January 27, 2020 I have a torque wrench you could borrow but I'm over an hour away. It goes over 200ft.lb and has a 3/4" drive. Interested?
maintenanceguy 510 Posted January 27, 2020 For a one-time job, Harbor Freight has beam type torque wrenches pretty cheap. I've never used one so I can't tell you if they're any good or not.
Sota 1,191 Posted January 27, 2020 was gonna also suggest harbor freight. or if you're using air impact tools, get the correct torque stick.
SmittyMHS 603 Posted January 27, 2020 Gotta an Auto zone near you? They loan out tools and maybe they have one. Also might try a tire service dealer. Maybe offer to give them what it will cost to replace if you don't bring it right back.

It would be very unusual to remove lug nuts with a torque wrench and breaker bar.

I had no choice as I needed a vehicle and didn't want to buy new since I may get the Bronco in 2021. I also needed a bigger vehicle for various reasons. At least it's still in the extended family.
