Underdog 1,593 Posted February 16, 2020 What are some of your thoughts on knives for the outdoors? I think the best value in a Bushcraft Knife is the Condor Terrasaur with its Scandi grind. I am a big fan of Moras, and in particular I like the Companion HD, Eldris, and of course the Garberg. Condor has some other nice knives as well, including the Bushlore and their version of the Kephart. I am also a big fan of the PKS knive shop and its Scorpion. What are some of your thoughts? Underdog 1,593 Posted February 16, 2020 There is a small Ukranian company that is endeavoring to create nice knives entitled BPS Knives... So, what are some of your characteristics? Grind? Metal Type? Style? Grip Material? Do you like Scandi or Flat Grind? My favorite Scandi "budget" blade is the Mora Garberg and my favorite flat style is the Becker BK16. However, the ultimate budget blade is the Condor Terrasaur.
