Well, that's not exactly what he said:

Not showing symptoms does not mean he couldn't be positive.

I can't  find the post now (it's either here or on pafoa.org) but the President's physician has stated by memorandum that Trump tested negative.  Sadly, on Friday, I tuned into then press conference when a female reporter was demanding that Trump quarantine himself for 2 weeks because of this.
