True--and it's a good warning to get out there.

It's still possible to track you even with TOR routing everything through three countries, and It's been done, certainly, but it is difficult enough that they really have to want to do it.  That generally means it is part of an active criminal investigation.

Personally, I think everyone in NJ has a civic obligation to peek at as many 'forbidden' (but really legal) websites as possible just to screw with the AG's office.

Anything is possible but unless you plan on committing a major crime involving Federal government concerns I don't think any NJ agency alone will figure out Tor's encryption and tracing back to you.

Use a good VPN with a kill switch and no logging policy.  It's more practical and almost as secure as using Tor.
