New Member, Newish Gun Owner

Hello everyone. Getting right to introductions, been living in NJ (Salem County, specifically) for around 18 years now, but just recently started to get into guns. I've always had an interest in them, but everything I heard about owning guns in NJ sounded hellish and not worth the effort. Finally got around to getting my FID about a year ago, and it wasn't nearly as horrible as I thought it would be, and so very much worth it. First purchase was a Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 .40cal. Only put maybe 300-400 rounds through it, but have had a blast every time I shoot it.

Took almost a year for me to purchase my next guns (finances, life... gotta have priorities), but thanks to the Covid Stimulus Check, I just picked up a Remington 870 Police Magnum and a Mosin-Nagant M44. Unfortunately, everything is closed right now, so I have not been able to fire them yet.

Currently work full-time at an auto parts store and am working towards getting my Minister's License, so these will probably be the last 2 guns I get for a while. I have so many interests that it's hard to devote so much time and money to just a single one.

I look forward to getting to know you all and to learn more about Gun Ownership in NJ.
