Just got my FID so I am new to NJ process...

Hi all, I applied in this Draconian state for my FID and Permit to purchase a handgun on 4/2 and I picked up the physical card on 4/21.. but I have no idea regarding my handgun permit to purchase.. i think that is what NJ calls it.. either way I am happy enough.  Anyone shed any more light on the rest of this process for me ?

Get back in touch with whoever gave you your FID card and ask about the status of the handgun purchase permit.  If you applied for both of them at the same time then I'd expect them to be completed and made available to you at roughly the same time (within a week of each other).
