Malsua 1,422 Posted May 12, 2020 So I popped outside right about 11:45 today and saw an AC130 escorted by a fighter headed North, North west, roughly towards Stewart. They were low and fairly fast, faster than most aircraft that are headed into or out of Teterboro which is about a 2.5 miles from me. I am not suggesting they came from Teterboro, just using it as a comparison. About a minute later, a pair of fighters went the same route and these were goosing it. I could not recognize the type of fighters, looked a bit like F22s but I don't know my planes. I wonder if it was just a normal movement, but these were low and loud! The lockdown is State. Trump didn't lock us down, Governor woodchuck did that.
voyager9 3,417 Posted May 12, 2020 Did someone just confuse a KC135 with an AC130? Because that would be like confusing a muzzle loader with an AR15.

The guy said he didn't know planes, but you had to belittle him with your FAR superior knowledge. How about being a little constructive instead of being a douche nozzle.

I don’t know why you’ve taken such offense but that’s on you.

Kevin125 4,772 Posted May 14, 2020 Crock pot? I am missing something.... I thought the 135 was a military kero carrying 707? Does it slow cook too? And I heard them but couldn’t see them. Beautiful sound.
Handyman 5,682 Posted May 14, 2020 There aren't really "appreciate healthcare people" flights. They are planning routes for the strafing runs when it all goes bad.
