SOLD... Marlin 336 in .30-30 circa 1974 pre-safety

Recommended Posts

I want to sell my 1974 Marlin 336 in .30-30.

Asking $450

I bought this as a fixer upper. The wood had water damage. I stripped it down, sanded and stained and Tru-oiled. The wood on this gun is lovely. I replaced the Marlin Bullseye before the Tru-Oil.

There are 2 scratches on the left side of the receiver and are pictured.

As this is my only .30-30, Included in the sale is 120 rounds of ammo.

I am in Bayville 08721. I can travel, but I would prefer to meet up at an Ocean County FFL for the transfer. Fees are buyers responsibility.

The first "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets it.

Great looking rifle.  You did a fantastic job refinishing the wood

I have a similar rifle that I think was made in the late 70s.  It's one of my favorites.

Thanks glen. I do like the rifle a lot, and I did spend some time refinishing it, but with the world the way it is, I needs cash more than a seldom used toy.

I'll take it next if deal doesn't happen.

GregV...You are 2nd in line if the 1st buyer does not work out. I am scheduled to meet him at his FFL on Wednesday. I will keep you posted.
