Whats Murphy going to do in 2 Months when the weather changes and restaurants can't have outdoor dining, just let everyone go out of business? Or is he not thinking that far ahead. This POS wants to inflict pain on business owners knowing they vote red, for the most part. 1 1

The worst part is that the idiots supporting a shutdown have no idea about operating a business, specifically small business. Murphy comes from the big corporate world that is run more like government bureaucracy than a regular business. Only a fool would believe that a sit down restaurant can survive with outdoor only service. Most restaurants aren't profitable until 70-80 percent of the seats are filled. From what I have seen, it isn't possible to get the same table turnover. If is about safety, then let people decide for themselves what to do. Nobody is trying to force people into restaurants. Either dine there or not, it is a choice that is not being given to people in NY, NJ, CA, etc. I am in rural VA and our county has had 45 cases total. Our restaurants have been serving people indoors for months with no increase in infection. This will have to reach a boiling point where people stand up for their rights and decide that they are not going to be subjugated any longer. 3

Assembly of people, close together, for political purposes is acceptable. The patrons will just have to talk about some politics while they're there. I'm sure they can find a topic, like this guy below.
