revenger 472 Posted May 30, 2020 I hear stories on the news (101.5 ) about businesses opening against the assholes directives. The gym in belmawr now filed a federal lawsuit, supposedly businesses in Rockaway opening Monday yet nothing from any of the indoor ranges. what gives? Are we waiting for the NRA to rescue us. When are the lawsuits coming.
Ryu 21 Posted May 30, 2020 My gym said that Murphy promised them June 1st for reopening, but this week came and went with no announcement. I doubt he will announce a June 1st reopening now. Maybe he will announce on Monday that they can reopen in two weeks. Maybe he is waiting for rebellious businesses to reopen on Monday.
1brentenfan 9 Posted May 30, 2020 As much as I really hate to admit this, but waiting for the damn NRA to come here to New Jersey to take any type of legal action in Federal court against this worthless socialist piece of shit, Emperor Philip I, supreme ruler of the peoples socialist state of new jersey is worse than the proverbial waiting for hell to freeze over. The n r a does not give 1 shit about us here, even though I keep getting at least 8 "fundraising" letters per moth, looking for handouts. Some months I have gotten as many as 15!! They DO NOT care about helping us here in NJ anymore. And I have been a member for almost 32 years, & I have actually upgraded my membership all the way to the top, as a Benefactor Life Member. Sometimes I really want to send good old Wayne LaPierre a personal letter that will be written in RED! FUCK YOU ASSHOLE!!! THANKS FOR ALL THE NRA'S HELP HERE IN NJ (SARCASM)!!!! raz-0 1,256 Posted May 30, 2020 You do realize getting gun shops opened and outdoor ranges opened was largely the result of anjrpc lawsuits. That is the state nra affiliate organization 2 2

marlintag 223 Posted May 31, 2020 NRA does nothing for the law abiding gun owner of this state. I focus on NJ organizations that are fighting in the trenches and actually trying to make the necessary changes. Those organizations are ANJRPC, NJ2AS, JPFO, 2A sanctuary, etc.. You are very uninformed, ANJRPC IS our NRA affiliate. They are doing plenty.

I think people should join whatever 2A orgs they want to (preferably more than 1). But, I think facts matter... so again... technically, ANJRPC is the local NRA affiliate, and as far as I recall, ANJRPC's lawsuits have always been done in collaboration/consultation with the NRA HQ's DC-based law firms, etc. Edit: oops, sorry... I see I was posting this at the same time as @Tunaman. He made the point already.
SJG 253 Posted May 31, 2020 Prediction: Indoor Ranges are not going to open until August
Ryu 21 Posted May 31, 2020 33 minutes ago, SJG said: Prediction: Indoor Ranges are not going to open until August I agree, but honestly I hope not. Tomorrow supposedly there is a BIG announcement. It would probably along the same lines as last week's announcement to reopen child care in two weeks. more outdoor stuff to open in two weeks.

Greenday 323 Posted June 1, 2020 I don't know about you all, but target shooting is a non-contact sport as far as I'm concerned and Murphy said non-contact sports can reopen...

Please explain, where should the anger be focused. since an asshole left wing politicians actions are quite predictable especially when it comes to guns and freedom directing any anger towards them is worthless, I would not only expect but demand that the advocacy organization that claims to be the standard bearer of second amendment rights take the necessary action to defend those rights especially in the few remaining states where the 2A is not recognized. Come January 20th 2021 should Trump not be re-elected and the senate majority not increased in the republicans favor what we are witnessing and living through right now will become the norm across the country. If that happens than on Jan 21st Ginsburg will retire and the first action of the new administration will be to swear in "justice" Hussein Obama. Indoor nonessential retail businesses can re-open at half-capacity on June 15. How would this not apply to indoor ranges? I don't think we're ever going to hear him call out indoor ranges, by name, as something allowed to re-open.

revenger 472 Posted June 10, 2020 I for one have lost all respect for the owners of all the shooting ranges, they have essentially laid their swords at the feet of a communist dictator and are begging for mercy. They should have sued in federal court 2 months ago to force the asshole to produce his "data" that shows an indoor shooting range is more dangerous than a Walmart . I hate to admit it but I wouldn't feel bad for them if they closed their doors forever and lost everything. Stand up for your rights people, the barber in Detroit has more balls than any of NJ's business owners. 1 1

marlintag 223 Posted June 11, 2020 Revenger is on point and entirely correct, the range owners should have taken action and sued a long time ago. The fact that the range owners didn't even make so much as a whimper when other essential/non-essential businesses opened, illustrates their cowardice and defeatist attitude. Thanks to inaction on the part of these individuals, i do not see the ranges in NJ opening up until "stage 3" or after......long long after....... 1
