...to get back out there and shoot. Sgt Toadette and I shot our first IDPA match in three months yesterday. It was at the Phillipsburg Pistol Club, a match that we used to attend regularly, until it got moved to a different day and conflicted with USPSA at Shongum. Shongum also had a match yesterday, but it was restricted in size and preference was given to club members, which is why we decided to shoot at P-burg.

That is also a small match, but always has been. We had 17 or 18 people there and shot six stages, all on the outdoor range. Under normal circumstances it would be an eight stage match with four stages shot indoors and four stages shot outdoors. It was just great to knock the rust off.

Sgt Toadette finished second overall and first in the Carry Optics division.

Already looking forward to this coming Saturday when, hopefully, we'll be shooting an ICORE match at Lower Providence - just waiting for confirmation from the MD that it's going to happen.

Get back out there and shoot!!!

Adios,

Pizza Bob

Ditto

Went out Trap shooting Thunder Mountain with my 2 sons earlier today, Felt great to get out on a nice day.

Almost felt normal, except for having to wait to get into park, only took about 20 minutes, but when we left the wait was maybe 45.

kind of unfair to them more people going to park, but because they are in the park, the head count is the same and you gave to wait.

For decades now, there's only one road to get in there now from the NJ side. When the old Shepherd Lake Road entrance was open on the NY side, it was easier to get in there. One road controls who gets in to everything within the park and lake area.
