The FID requirement might be because we're registered with the State, either that and/or insurance purposes. Some FFLs will not let you touch a gun without a FID.

I know we have part time residents as members. I don't know them directly, but I've heard them being announced. New members are introduced at the club meeting, nothing fancy, just name and town you're from.

Best bet is to email Rob and see what he says. Just be patient, I think I waited a day to hear back from him the first time I reached out.

I deleted my post because I don’t feel it was the place to ask but I appreciate your response.  After I posted asking about the requirements I remembered the golden rule. Their range, their rules.  :)   I also emailed the person you mentioned.

I suspect the rules you were inquiring about come from the State more than the range. I could be wrong, I'm due for that I think.

Yeah, could be.  My main point, about myself, was don’t be critical until you’re informed. Thanks again.  Are you a member there?  I was a guest once and really enjoyed it but lived far from that location.  I’m a reasonable distance currently which is why I was considering joining.

Yes, I've been a member for about 18 months +/- now. The buy in was a little tough, but since I've been a member I've seen a good amount of money go back into improvements.
