S.P. 66 form

Hi just completed form s.t.s 033 online yesterday got my two references do the same got email verification that they did  got my fingerprints app.set.My question is with form s p. 066 .It states on nj states police site you only have to complete that form if you were not living on nj  past 10 years. So I'm confused?

Go to njportal.com .Then scroll down to nj state police , then click on " firearms licensing service" that will take you to main page and just click Help button . And then you will see all the questions and answers.  Good luck . I'm waiting for freaking fingerprints app.

I got me fingerprints Scheduled pretty quick. I went back into the portal to see if I can reschedule and the dates they were offering were like 2 weeks later so I just kept my original date and after that I got my fid card in 2 weeks that will differ though.

My FP appointment was two weeks after the online application date. The lady doing FPs told me that I should get FID in three weeks from "today" (the day of FP). The week after I realized that I want an extra P2P, so I emailed the PD and they added another P2P request, no prob. But I was also told, that regardless the fact I was NJ resident for >10 years, I have to submit a hard copy of SP-66 to them together with a payment.

I was also told that "normal processing times have slowed due to the pandemic" and "all applications are processed in the order in which they are received". So only the original application date matters, not the FP date.

      In 50 years of living in NJ I've never experienced any attempt to inspect the interior of the home, and only one definite inspection of the exterior for an announced reassessment of all properties and that was a drive by. About 9 years of that was living in an apartment, but still, uncommon. Every place I lived had either a finished attic, basement, or both. But they were also included in the habitable square footage on the taxes when we got there.

      27.00 and change in tolls to drive down the shore from Rutherford,  47.00 in tolls to go out to Long island to visit dying relatives. Now I read they are going to raise the fees in the DMV. Murphy lied just to get elected when he said that seniors will get a significant tax break with his StayNJ" program to stop us from leaving.   Keep voting for democrats...this is what you get.  Tax and spend is all they know.  Never cut anything.  This state sucks.

      I get the added benefit that since I have a TSP rather than a true 401(k) they tax my retirement too. Yaaaay!
