Nam Le 19 Posted July 24, 2020 Hi, I'm trying to look for an adjustable stock that's still considered fixed and legal here. What do you think about the Magpul PRS GEN3? https://magpul.com/prs-gen3-precision-adjustable-stock.html?mp_global_color=
PK90 3,570 Posted July 24, 2020 IMO, the stock is fixed. The butt plate and cheek riser are adjustable. It is legal. 1

I had one on my 308 AR when I lived in NJ... the description specifically says "telescoping or folding STOCK" are "evil features".. the stock on the PRS does not move it especially does not fold or telescope... it is a fixed stock with adjustable components..

Shepherd9 215 Posted July 28, 2020 I have one currently on my AR-10 pattern 6.5. IMO perfectly legal.
antiriad 10 Posted September 14, 2020 Well. You can't really fold the stock on an AR due to the buffer tube.

I think he was referring to the telescopic aspect of the stock. But as Paul said, they now make an adapter to fold the stock on an AR rifle......... raz-0 1,259 Posted September 14, 2020 PRS was legal during the 94-04 AWB, no reason it wouldn't be legal now.
