I have a case of clays, ammo, and the second greatest scattergun to come out of Mother Russia.
Krdshrk 3,872 Posted September 17, 2020 Hoping to start at about 9, 9:30'ish. Depends on how fast I get moving lol.

I'm going to pack the car Saturday night so I just need to grab the shotgun. I have a thrower, but it's manual and needs to be clamped to a bench or stand, so unless we need it I'll leave it home. I plan on bringing my Other Firearm and I'll try to swap out the crappy trigger (7 lb pull) for the ALG Defense (4.5 or 5.5 lb) I have by Sat night. Is there a Dunkin Donuts near the range? We might need a Box O Joe.

Krdshrk 3,872 Posted September 17, 2020 I picked up a few boxes of clays from Heritage Guild Easton. They just got a couple pallets full. Decent price. 135 box for $14.99.

ChrisJM981 924 Posted September 19, 2020 Does the local Walmart still sell 12 gauge ammo? I have some, but more is always better.

Mr.Stu 1,884 Posted September 20, 2020 I should have 4 guests too. Two of them are 14 year old lads. They can't make it until 12 but if the clay shooting is done by then I'll just take them to the rifle range.

Bklynracer 1,259 Posted September 20, 2020 Thanks to @Krdshrk for setting this up again and to all who were there. 2nd time for me and my son but you guys make it felt like we've been coming for years, Great group. Krdshrk 3,872 Posted September 21, 2020 Great day today, great turnout. Unfortunately, my thrower went down at the end of the day. I've sent in a tech request to Champion to see if they can help, but if I can't get it fixed, we may need someone else's thrower for the next shootout... Thanks to all that came today - Plenty of new shooters and a lot of broken clays to go along with the broken thrower!

There will probably be one right after Halloween. If it's not a miserable day it's usually a good turn out. Thanks to @Mr.Stu for letting me shoot your Benelli(?). I'll attempt to tune the gas on the VEPR for the next meet.
