Anyone have an HK45T or know of someone who's added a brake/comp/whatever to it?

I'm not particularly fond of the protruding thread protector on there and if the barrel wasn't 200+ bucks and not available, I'd just buy the non threaded barrel.

I've read it may need a different spring. No idea what that might mean in practice.

Thoughts?
