It's too bad you don't have some WW2 era 22lr ammo.  I really get a kick when I run an en bloc full of 1940 something ammo through my Garand.  Hearing the sounds, feeling the recoil, smelling the smells, it actually gives me chills.

I have NEVER seen US ammo 22 from WW2.

I pulled my mossberg and remington book - that picture is a Remi 40X - the wrong image loaded LOL

 

BEAUTIFUL RIFLE !  

 

I love my 513 - but always wanted a 40X

Duh.. Why the hell i didnt think of that in the first place is beyond me....   Guess i was more tired than i realized; right before falling asleep in the computer chair like i routinely do...
