Pointer Acrius O/U

I received the latest issue of Guns & Ammo the other day and there is an ad for a Pointer O/U shotgun called the Acrius, with an MSRP of $589. For that price it looks pretty nice, especially the field version in Walnut. They appear to be made in Turkey.

Does anybody know anything about these?

Looks like a Turkish O/U - like Yildiz and some others.  If it fits and shoots well, go for it.  Otherwise, no idea.

why not a Stoeger?  mind you both, I'm not a shotgun guy so it may be a Taurus for all I know..lol

It looks like an inexpensive O/U - but more of a field gun than Stoegers.  I'm personally not a Stoeger Condor fan - they're heavy and the actions are stiff.  Doesn't look too bad for the price.  It's out of stock pretty much everywhere but I do see a site had it listed for about $500.
